Your family's information stays your family's.

Seamless Care™ was built privacy-first. Your care information is end-to-end encrypted, readable only by the people you invite — not by us, and not by advertisers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep.

1. Our privacy-first promise

We cannot read your care data. The health, home, mood, and note information shared through Seamless Care™ is encrypted on your device and decrypted only on the devices of the care circle members you invite. Our servers relay this information without the keys to open it. We designed the service this way on purpose.

We never sell your information, and we never use your family's care data for advertising. You choose what is shared, with whom, and you can change or withdraw that at any time.

2. Who we are

Seamless Care™ is a product of LifeScience Technologies, LLC ("LifeScience Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"); Seamless Care™ is a trademark of LifeScience Technologies, LLC. This policy applies to the Seamless Care™ Caregiver app, the Seamless Care™ Care Receiver companion app, and this website (together, the "Service").

3. Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to work for you.

Information you provide

  • Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and connect your care circle.
  • Care information you enter — care plans, medications, appointments, notes, incidents, moods, and contacts you or your care circle add. This content is end-to-end encrypted.

Information shared from a care receiver's device

  • Health & activity data — if a care receiver chooses to share it, data such as vital signs, activity, and sleep from Apple Health. See section 4.
  • Home environment — readings from smart-home sensors the care receiver connects (for example, presence or home/away status), when they enable home features.
  • Approximate location — used only for optional safety features such as a home-zone "arrived home / left home" signal. This is processed to power features the care receiver turns on; it is not continuous, moment-to-moment tracking, and it can be turned off.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device & delivery data — a device identifier and push-notification token so we can deliver alerts and sync data to the right devices.
  • Diagnostics — limited, aggregated technical logs to keep the Service reliable and secure. These do not contain your decrypted care data.

4. Health & HealthKit data

Health data read through Apple HealthKit is used only to provide the features you enable. We never use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we never sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. It is end-to-end encrypted and visible only to the care circle members the care receiver authorizes.

Sharing health data is always the care receiver's choice, made on their own device, and they select exactly which categories to share. They can stop sharing any category at any time in the app or in Apple Health, and revoke access entirely.

5. How we use information

  • To provide the Service — syncing care information securely among the care circle you authorize.
  • To deliver notifications, reminders, and safety alerts you have enabled.
  • To operate optional features you turn on, such as home-status and wellbeing tools.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use your care information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

6. How information is shared

  • With your care circle — the whole point of the Service. Information is shared only with the caregivers and care receivers you invite and authorize.
  • With service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure and deliver notifications on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to those purposes. Because your care data is end-to-end encrypted, these providers cannot read its contents.
  • For legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or security of users and the public.
  • In a business transfer — if the business is involved in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Encryption & security

Care information is protected with modern end-to-end encryption. Content is encrypted on the sending device and can be decrypted only by the intended recipients' devices; our servers relay encrypted data and do not hold the keys to read it. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect account and technical data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but privacy is a foundational part of how the Service is built, not an afterthought.

8. Retention & deletion

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete care content within the app, leave a care circle, or delete your account. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with it, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations. To request deletion, contact us using section 12.

9. Your choices & rights

  • Control what's shared — choose which categories of information you share, and change or revoke that at any time.
  • Access, correct, or delete — request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Permissions — manage Health, location, and notification permissions in your device settings at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights to access, delete, correct, and port your information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. We honor these rights; contact us to exercise them.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults coordinating care. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Where a caregiver shares information about a minor in their care, they are responsible for having the authority and any consent required to do so.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
